COURSE INFORMATION FOR #44922 Upholstery Weekend
Course Tutors: Judy Jeffery and Kath Wilkie
Purpose of the Course:
- Over 1 weekend (16Hours) attendees will be shown the basic processes of furniture upholstery, deconstruction,webbing & padding then how to recover with new fabric.
Pre-requisites (if any): BYO furniture project to remake. Learners will be contacted by tutor prior to course starting to ensure piece is suitable for a beginner to upholster and can be completed within 2-day timeframe.
Participants Must Provide:
Bring any tools you have,staple gun,pliers,hammer,tacklifter etc.
Please bring an old thick blanket for the tabletop to work on and a drop sheet for the floor.
Tutors will have available to purchase wadding,webbing, foam etc at the venue.
The tutors are happy to talk to you on phone before course to discuss fabric requirements etc.
