Come along and sew in a group gaining confidence to learn the basics of sewing. From cutting out using a pattern, basic controls through to construction. Develop a basic idea to include lining zips and button holes.
You will build on these skills in a series of courses.

Purpose of the Course:
- Sewing in a group gain confidence from cutting out fabric, learning the basic skills to making a professional looking finished item.Term 1 will start with a tote bag and work through to lining and inserting a zip.
Participants Must Provide:
0.5m of medium to heavyweight cotton drill, denim etc fabric suitable for a bag. Matching cotton, scissors, unpicker or any tools you have.
You can bring your own sewing machine or book one of ours.
