COURSE INFORMATION FOR #48243 Upholstery Weekend
Course Tutors: Judy Jeffery and Kath Wilkie
Purpose of the Course:
- Over 1 weekend (16 Hours) attendees will be shown the basic processes of furniture upholstery, deconstruction, webbing & padding then how to recover with new fabric.
Pre-requisites (if any): BYO furniture project to remake. Learners will be able to contact the tutor prior to course starting to ensure piece is suitable for a beginner to upholster and can be completed within 2-day timeframe.
Participants Must Provide:
Bring any tools you have: staple gun, pliers, hammer, tacklifter etc.
Please bring an old thick blanket for the tabletop to work on and a drop sheet for the floor.
Tutors will have available to purchase wadding,webbing, foam etc at the venue.
Morning and afternoon tea provided. Please BYO lunch.
Note: you will be required to take away your rubbish from your project.
