Flyfishing for Beginners – Martinborough

This two session course will give you an introduction to the art of fly-fishing.

  • Tutors will teach you how to choose appropriate fishing gear and setup.
  • You’ll practise casting on dry land
  • Discuss trout varities and how to tie fly for best results.
  • The 2nd day will be a session on local river

What to bring:

Day1: Bring along your fishing gear for the tutor to look through

Day2: Bring waders and fishing gear for river visit. Be prepared to be in water up to your knees.

This is a physical activity that involves an element of risk. Whilst all possible measures are taken to prevent injuries please note that participation is your own risk. No Fishing licence is required whilst doing the course, but participants will need one if they wish to continue after the course.
